59 to 60 part 34

Well hello and welcome to part 34 of this blog and not the best start to the week as i was woken early with a niggling pain in my back and all i can say it is not getting any better, i new straight away this would not be a bike day as i just know when my back is going to go, i tried to do a bit in the bathroom and got so far before a pain shot up my back and now when i try to bend down i can feel that horrid sharp pain, so my back will either get worse as the day goes on or i will wake up tomorrow and it will be ok. I have had this problem for a long time now and last time it went was at my work and pain was that bad i ended up on the floor, i had to be wheeled to A&E and Helen had to come and pick me up and take me home and pain lasted for about a week and here is the thing when it does sort itself out i feel great for about a week before i get the usual small bits of pain until it goes again and this could be a month or up to a year or more. So i will have to see how it goes today and early tomorrow and don't be surprised  if i start with hey i am just back from a cycle. So i did manage to get one wall done in the bathroom before i had to stop, today will be a shop day and if i can i will go for a walk so i am not sitting to much.

Here is a couple of photos from some Autumn walks and winter top one is from the Birks of Aberfeldy and the next one is a walk up at Blairgowrie as you can see the Birks one was in the Snow and it wasd agreat walking day but it was a bit slippy as Helen fell when she got out the car and i thought it would put her off but no she got up and continued the walk. The Blairgowrie one is a nice walk especially in autumn lots of trees changing colour so if you read this and stay near these places they really are with a visit. Well onto the rest of the day and lets hope my back improves.
Not much else happening today my back is slightly better but i am not sure how much of it is the painkillers i have taken we shall see.

                                                                           09/11/21
Hello and what a day, phone went of 7am and straight away i knew i had mixed up my shifts and that i should be at work, and sure enough yes i did ahhhhh so it was a quick wash and off i went. I am of tomorrow definitely as i have double checked. I have come on tonight just to put one photo on, you may remember in one of the earlier blogs i spoke about mum and said i had a picture of her at the piano and if i found it i would post it. Well here it is Mum playing the piano.
                                                                      My beautiful mum

                                                                              10/11/21
Good morning and a frosty start i have decided to give my cycling a rest until the weekend as my back is still a bit sore which is a pity as even though it is a bit frosty it is still not to bad a day, i have been out to the shops to get some rolls for breakfast. I am now out in the garden doing a bit of cleaning up and am now about to change the tyres on my Felt bike as this is the one i use for winter, i have come in the man shed first to start this days blog and just a bit of a rest.
After i do this will have to go and do my tyres on the car as i had an alarm this morning to put a bit of air in the tyres, Helen has an appointment at 16-30 so will do all this before this happens, so off i go to change these tyres hoping it will go quickly mmm hoping.  Well the best answer is no lol got both tyres off ok and front tyre went on fine but back one when i blew it up i must have nicked the tube as it burst when i put it back together so had to take off tyre and start again but that's in done and ready to go for winter and what it throws at us. So will now head out and do the car hopefully that will be a bit easier. So all good with car and I have dropped Helen off for her scan now just waiting to here from her, had a walk around the gardens at Ninewells some good Autumn colours and bit red sky as sun set.

Again it’s a nice walk this week to not long but you can sit and just have bit of time to yourself if need be and I am sure it has been well used during this time of  covid by mist nhs workers and others. Well that should be it for today and until Saturday when I come off again.

                                                                                13/11/21
Hello and welcome to Saturdays blog it has been a nice day real autumn day with a really nice sunset to finish, had a braw bacon roll to start and a good stretch before i did my 25 miles on my Felt bike was great wee run and after a bit of a hard start on bike as it has been over a week since i was last out i manage to ease myself back into it and by the time i got to the climb Carrot Hill i was feeling fine, i used an old route and managed to get some really good photographs which included goats, pigs and deer but not all in the same field

.so most of the week was spent at work which went well it did not look like it would but well it went well, i am off until Monday now and later next week i am off for another 10 days and again i look forward to this big time, Helen does have an appointment on Tuesday about here breathing and we hope that something can be done about this as it is getting her down which i do not like. Well for now i am back in the man shed enjoying a glass of white wine while i do this blog, tonight shall be a quiet mmm well a red wine night with a bit of TV. Well as i said earlier it was a nice sunset and i would like to leave you today with these photos.

                                                                        14/11/21
Good morning and another Sunday has arrived, breakfast has been eaten and i am about to go out and check my mountain bike to make sure it is road worthy mmm well it is safe to ride as i may get out on it some time this week fingers crossed. Today will be mainly a quiet day as i am back to work tomorrow and as usual i never had the best nights sleep awake at 7am again and found it hard to get back to sleep. Very grey day as well but does not feel to cold.
Well the day time has been done mountain bike seems ok but think i may have tightened back crank a bit to much Wes shall see. Just back in from shops and as drive through the country which was good, now it os onto tonight and as usual especially on a school night it will be a bit TV and not much else.

Few photos from Stratrhfarar horse shoe walk few years ago and remains one of the best winter walks i have done, the middle one has what’s called a Brocken spectre in all the years i have walked i never saw this before but on that day i think saw 3, this was caused by my shadow a magnified shadow of my shadow cast upon clouds opposite the sun’s direction amazing to see, was just a perfect winter walk. As you probably know by now i am an armature photographer i have been doing this for a while and I would like to share one of the very first photographs i took with my very first DSLR it is of Arbroath Abbey.

Was at sunset and i was quite chuffed with this one as i was still trying to get to grips with the camera as at first it would not take the photo so ended up putting it on automatic and then it clicked, i have had three cameras and now use ans Olympus OMD which i just love one of the best cameras i have ever used and would recommend it if your into taking photos.

Another two taken with my second DSLR this was taken two years ago on yes you guessed it Nov the 5th and by this time although still struggling a bit with camera i did get on a lot better with it well as you can see as its not easy to catch this you normally have a couple of seconds but think they are a couple of good photos. Well we come to am end of this weeks blog and as always if you are reading this i hope you enjoy, so until next week it just leaves me to say. BYEEEEEE
Ged
