hello and welcome to this weeks blog and the start of November a month that can bring so many good things weather wise such as cold crisp days/nights and a lot of frost well here is hoping anyway as i think we have all had enough rain last week to last the rest of the year. Today i am out on the bike for a while am planning on doing a circuit while Helen gets her treatment at the back of two, truthfully i think it may be a struggle to begin with as it has been a while since i have been out, but hoping Helen's treatment goes well and i get a good hour on the bike which is a good way to get the legs going again. on the winter theme i love getting out on cold crispy mornings or early evening especially when their is frost or even better snow mmm i know i am just a big kid really but getting out with my camera ib this type of weather in forest or where their are lots of trees is just amazing at times.
So managed a wee 15miles on bike but was very windy just hoping it is a bit better tomorrow but I am just happy to get back into it again even though it was a straight forward circuit it did involve some climbing and f tomorrow morning is good I may do my sidlaw run which is around 35miles.
I am now just waiting on Helen getting out after her treatment as their was a bit of a muck up with her bloods so she has been in their since the back of 12. So we finally got home around five and poor Helen is feeling a bit beat, well I’m not surprised really it has been a long day for her so I have come out to the man cave for while give her a bit of peace. First time at night I’ve come in to the cave in t does feel good.

Well good afternoon and today has started well even though their was a bit of rain i decided just to go for it on the bike and managed another 22miles and yes it was cold the rain never really came to anything so it was good to start to wind in the miles, actually today was fresh close to the kind of days that i love being out in. Used the Ribble today so had to give it a good oil when i got back as the roads were a bit muddy. So onto the rest of today and not really sure what the plan is but i am sure it will involve coffee.
well yes it did indeed involve a coffee after i dropped car of at garage which i forgot all about until Helen said is your car not bent to be down at Franks? So it is their now to get new brake pads and tightening of the hand brake. Not much else done today though. We have not been away for a while on Holiday abroad but we have had some great times away, our first time was in Portugal and it was my first time abroad i loved it but unfortunately it was cut short as at the end of the first week Helen got a call to the apartment it was her sister to tell her that her father had passed away so we flew back early, Helen was very much a daddies girl so of course she was devastated and to her credit still tends to her dads grave most weekends. But we have had many a good time away especially on cruises which we just love to do but i think at the moment anything would be good.

Alaska what a great cruise this was we had two nights in Vancouver and then a weeks Alaskan Cruise then three more nights in Vancouver it was one of the best holidays we have had, Alaska was just beautiful and as for Vancouver well that was just superb, we were left pretty much to our own devices so we tried to visit as many places as possible and we sure did that.

Well not bad start to Wednesday car is back from garage another good job done and not a to bad price so was quick clean when i got home, no rain again but it is getting colder but at least the sun is out today, we are of to Perth this afternoon as Helen has a scan there at 2pm mmm yes we have a big hospital in Dundee but their asking if she would use Perth as the other is very busy, but i don't mind as long as Helen is getting checked then that’s fine by me.
A photo taken while i walked down to pick up my car but have to say that the wind is picking up so it could be a blowy day. Just back from Perth and really not much to say about today was straight forward really, tomorrow will be a bike day i think well in the morning but think i. May have to wrap up as it looks like it may be a frosty night.

Well i was right i woken up to a cold frosty morning but it did look like a late frost as my car was getting whiter the more the early morning went on and by 9am it was really white but by time i left for my cycle it was getting just a tad bit warmer, had a good 32miles today up by the sidlaw hills was a good breeze and i am kind of glad i put an extra layer on as when i managed to pick up a bit speed boy it was cold, but was a good run today and miles are getting better and a bit of good climbing as well.

Not bad i suppose but it was taken with new camera so hopefully if we do see full moon i shall be ready for it. So tonight i plan to light a fire in the garden as i cant let guy fox night go without doing anything so i think we have sparklers 🧨. I have made a pot of ham and vegetable soup so i may have that at the fire as well we shall see. So back to man cave and try to hide some of the wiring. Just back home after a trip to see if can get couple things for the cave and few other things, we took some tea with us and sat down near the docks where the sun was beginning to set so was good opportunity to take a couple of photos.
Hello Friday and happy guyfox day yes that is a picture of a firework haha but we wont see much tonight as Dundee Shitty Council have decided due to Covid to not have it this year but we are all aloud to gather later this month to have an ice rink and big wheel in the city centre and see the Christmas light switch on, yeah well done you bunch of tossers RANT OVER. Well currently making space in the man cave and for the first time a cd has been played yeah with electricity i can do lots more I CAN ROOOL THE WORLD HOHOHOHAHA oops sorry bit carried away their. This is Moon time and hope to get few better photos of the moon this year well better than last year but here is a couple of shots.
Great sky just the right amount of cloud to pick up the colour from the sun, so it has been not a bad day and hopefully later will add bit about my fire tonight and hopefully nice glass of port, living the life eah. just back in from my own bonfire was braw but bit smoky but was nice to be out at night with fire going and pink Floyd playing in the man cave, now enjoying a very very nice glass of port. Well Saturday is here and been a good morning nice breakfast then out to the garage to look for my digital radio so can put it in the man cave and after a bit of searching I finally found it so have off the ball on at the moment, have to go and get a birthday card for mates 60th tonight will pop along for a while as it has been a while since i saw everyone, not to keen on the place it is in but hey ho it was not my choice. Been putting bird house up for the robins and filling the other bird feeder. Not a day for the bike as it is windy and rainy as well and although tomorrow is meant to be a bit better rain wise i think we are due strong winds so we shall wait and see it may be a walk instead. Weather has improved slightly rain is off but high winds at the moment, i have been tidying up outside and am now sitting in the man cave listening to the football hoping my team Dundee United win today against Hearts. Nice rainbow when got home but by time i got phone ready it had died down a bit.
So tonight i intend to go to this 60th but will be around 8pm as i really don’t want to get to drunk tonight and this crew who i have known for a very long time well every time i see them i tends to go over the top as they are really down to earth people, my choice of drink may be gunnies as i do tend to drink this a bit slower mmmm we shall see.

Good morning and as i finished yesterday saying i would drink a bit slower mmm well it did not work 😂 but in saying that i did only have one whisky, it was a good night apart from the dj who was utter shite and i think he forgot it was a 60th as most music he played was just utter garbage and i am not alone in this opinion, it was good to see everyone again though and all them asking how Helen was? And asking hope i was coping, also was great to see my nieces again who i love to bits but was a bit concerned about Amanda as she was shall we say rather pissed.
Debbie and her daughter Kendal just so beautiful and that young lass is her mums double especially when Debs was kendals age, i really don't see enough of them all. Raymond was happy that it was a full house and to be honest it was like stepping back in time, all familiar faces people who i grew up with and just great to still see them all enjoying themselves it was a great catch up.
So it was a kind of late night but as i have said everyone when we get together just has a great time. But today i feel ok just feel like i have a cold but i know mmm well hopefully this will pass as the day goes on.
So onto the rest of today and truthfully not much planned we shall see what it brings, it is very windy again but at least the sun is out. I may go for a walk but will wait until later today. Well wee walk done but last night caught up with me and went downhill quickly, did wee bit in the house when got back but basically it was a very quiet day. So we come to the end of this weeks blog i am off until wedding so will be able to start next one on Monday so until then have a cool Sunday and BYEEEEEE
