59 to 60 part 10

 

Hello and welcome to part 10 of my blog and this morning it has been well bit different as i woke up to phone my dentist to check time for appointment and discovered i only had 20mins to get there so it was a rush out the house to get there and well tooth has been filled in again as they are still not keen to take it out. After this when i left i began to feel bit mmmm Christ i need the bog 😂 and i need it now so i rushed to M&S and believe me i just made it but what people must have thought when they seen me walking in like a bloody penguin and up three flights of steps my god that was close 😅 phew. Well enough about that, today has started like most days windy rainy and basically Shite so looks like bike is out again man we have had a lot of rain enough to do us the rest of the bloody year, so hopefully try to fit in a walk at some point. So off today then back for three days and then off for a good we while and we have a visit to Pitlochry set up as well woohoo. So onto today and lets see what it brings.

So not much else to say about today as once again it has been a complete wash out again so was off to shops and then up to Arnold Clarks with car 🚘. Sitting in again just listening to the dode fox podcast with a true DUFC Legend Paul Hegarty great listening to these players who gave there all for the club real legends. Been looking at some photos as well which i enjoy doing as well and if they need an edit then its nice and easy to do.

I have a as i have said 3days at work so this may be it until Friday unless something else comes up that’s exciting 😂 aye watch this space mmmm well maybe not.

Well back for more and after three days work i feel not to bad apart from last night when i could not stay awake but woke this morning and apart from usual pains was ready for a breakfast and few miles on bike 🚴 so was quick 16miles and felt good only did 16 as hoping tomorrow to get back up to 40miles even though might be sore on arms. I just did wee circuit but did head to V&A again and it was nice Wee van there had tables out and it looked great until a haze came over and man it was cold but am sure it will burn off, most of the cycle was done in sunshine whoop thank god the rain has been of for couple of days now. 

It is really beginning to take shape at the V&A we just need the sun ☀️ to come out now but  have built a wee beach and the building incorporates the Dundee cycling hub so thi s should become a busy place watch this space. Right onto other things and will be back shortly.

Back to do bit more in garden did get fair bit done which was good and if weather stays fine may even get bit for my man shed down then get mates soon for a few beers 🍻 Helen was out with me so was good as she gives me a big hand and we both enjoy when garden is done and clean mmm if we ever get the weather to enjoy it. So now back in listening to bit of Radiohead and bit of a chill as was beginning to feel it after my cycle and gardening but tonight i am having a chipper tea mmmm canna wait.

Well hello Saturday and what a great day started off with nice breakfast and then it was out to start my first 40 miles on bike for a while and although i had to stop more than often to stretch arm it was a great cycle and sun all the way until i got back to the ferry where the mist had come over.

Todays cycle took me from the ferry up to the sidlaws then down by Auchterhouse along to Newtyle then onto Glamis then road back to Dundee and it was just such a great feeling to be out in the sun and at times no one else about so stopped to take in the silence.

Cycled down to Glamis Castle to get a photo as you can see, it was also good to see the yes campaigners out as well today. I stopped in the small village of Glamis to have a sandwich and coffee but when i saw prices for a sandwich i quickly changed my mind and had a coffee and a York ice bar 😂 i mean 7 quid for a bit bread mmm an thanks. There. We’re times today i could have just sat for a while and just enjoyed the silence it was just so peaceful.

And at times the roads were quiet having a stretch of road like in this picture just a great feeling of freedom. It did take me a while today but even though arm was sore as you can see there were to many photo opportunities.

And of course was made even better as it was my Bianchi today just an awesome bike to ride wanted this bike for a while so it was great when I finally purchased this and worth every penny. So yeah a good day i know sit with a glass of red wine and believe me there will be bit more tonight 🍷 as tomorrow shall be a chill day mmm well maybe.

Well Sunday has been a good day even though not doing much apart from garden and yes shopping, got myself a level so am good to go on laying base for my man shed so hopefully will get on top of  that this week but garden looking fine now. No cycling for couple of days then on Tuesday my charity cycle begins 250miles in 30 days which should be fine and hope to mmm maybe double that but i thought i would give my body a rest for a couple of days especially tomorrow as I’d do tend to push myself at times. 

 So now back home and sun is out was going to have couple of beers but decided to wait until after my tea and we may share a nice bottle of cold fizz with some raspberries as well oooo posh eah. So another week another blog but here is hoping i can wright a bit more mmm less boring i suppose it should be a good week and Pitlochry at the weekend so can’t wait for that. SAOR ALBA  🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
